I have a file whichI have to update daily,I want to create a alram or the
file should open automatically evryday at a specific time or i should get a
message to update this file daily.

You can create a Scheduled Task to open your file at a certain time. To
create a Scheduled Task click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools,
Scheduled Tasks, click Add Scheduled Task in the folder that opens, Click
Next, Click Browse and select the document you want to edit, give the task a
name and select daily, click next, select the start time, click next, enter
the password for your user account, click next, click finish.
