Using IF functions in charts

Can anybody tell me if excel lets you use an IF function in a dat
series of a chart? If not how can I plot the data without changing th
order of the data?

Create two data series in the worksheet. One will contain the values
that satisfy the TRUE part of the IF statement, the other the FALSE
part. Plot these two series.
