using hyperthreading with dual xeon processors in w2kPro

I have used w2k(professional) in a dual-processor
environment for years with a pair of 800 mhz P3's. I
upgraded to a new board (using Intel 7505 chipset) and
bought a pair of 3.06 ghz xeons.

I gather that w2kPro will only allow me to use two
processors, essentially disabling the hyperthreading
capabilities of the processors.

What can I do to get the most out of this system? Do I
need to upgrade to w2k server? If so, is there a money-
saving upgrade from Pro to Server(versus a full w2k Server
purchase)?

Yes. Win2K (any variety) cannot distinguish between
physical and logical processors, and both Win2K Pro
and Win2K Server are limited to two cpus.

You'll need to upgrade to Advanced Server to get all four
processors recognized.
