Using HTML template in SendObject in Access

I would like to send a well formatted HTML email to many email addresses
stored in my Access database. Simple you might think.

The SendObject action refers to an email format (acFormatHTML) and to an
HTML template for which you must provide the path. No where in the
documentation can I find what is actually MEANT by an HTML template, so I
have assumed its just an ordinary HTML script in a file.
Only problem is - it doesn't work. Using the SendObject action I get a blank
email body, no matter what I put into the referenced HTML template.
I have even tried putting the HTML text into the [MessageText] parameter,
which then displays exactly that string of text without interpreting it as
HTML.
I am using Access 2002 with Outlook 2003.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have had the same problem. It seems the template works fine on reports
ie when you actually send a report by email. If you want to include your own
text in the message body the template doesn't affect it. I want to include a
company logo in the message body but can't see a way to do it. Using HTML
doesn't work either ;-(
