I need transfer important data from one PC to another. Using FTP is not
conveniently since there are slow internet connection.
Is the copying data into flash memory (removable drive) reliable way for
short keeping(up to 24h) and transfering data? I need transfer my data
without any changing - byte-to-byte. What is more reliable way, flash memory
or write data into CDROm?

thanks

Any one of those methods would work, but the question is, how much data
is there? over 1GB I would think you would have to use CD-R's, and as a
precaution I would verify after write in the software.

Another option you may consider is to remove the HD from the machine
with the data and plugging it in to the other machine, tranferring the
info across and then putting it all back, it would certainly have the
quickest transfer rate for large amounts of data.

I transfer files almost exclusively with my flash drive. I've never
experienced any problems.

The data amount is not large: portions near 120 -150MB. Is the flash memory
reliable way for data transferring(for example, mp3)?

Thanks

Has anybody experienced lost data on a relatively new usb thumb drive
without doing something out of the ordinary ? Would think they're just as
good for holding data as the littlecamera flash cards/drives and equally
as volitile from a magnetic source.
