Using Files and Settings Transfer Wizard

I just bought a new computer and I am trying to use the
Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. When I put the XP OS
disk into my old computer (Windows 95) and select Perform
additional tasks, then transfer files and settings my old
computer begins to run it and then shuts down ad
restarts. Any ideas why this would happen?

In reading the article suggested, thank you, it seems I
need to make a new Files and Settings disk after updating
my XP which I have done. Is there a reason I have to
create the new disk to floppy? For some reason the
wizard is not letting me switch to my cd read/write
drive. Unfortunately I do not have a floppy drive. Any
ideas?
