Hello. Is it possible to use the Files and Settings transfer wizard to
completely back up my c: drive to a new hard disk, then physically remove the
old one and replace it with the new one without having to reload XP?

Right now I have: a 30GB hdd with XP Pro OS installed
a 60GB hdd for files

I bought a new 200GB hdd

The following is what configuration I'd like to have:

30GB - gone (transfer using wizard to 60GB)
60GB - OS/boot drive (back up files, format, accept files from wizard)
200GB - files - new files hdd

Also, is it possible to use the Files and Settings transfer wizard from one
hdd to another, both installed in the same computer?

No.

For this kind of transfer, the best tool (IMHO) is Powerquest Drive Image.
Version 5-on handles XP NTFS partitions. There are other ways, for example
using a Windows PE bootCD, if you can get your hands on one.

Basically, in Windows XP you cannot transfer the whole disk-contents whilst
the OS on that disk is running, like you used to be able to do in Win9x.
