Using Excel 2003

Hi

I would like to plot along the x axis the date (currently in cell the first
column of the table below) and then mark the prices of the three categories
on the top row of the table by line graph. However I want to include in the x
axis scale all the date and price entries but only mark out the dates in bold
in the first column

Also, if it can be done, I want to isolate the line graph by section so that
it tracks the price the week before, the week of the bold date and the week
after and then breaks until the next set of three dates.

Thanks for all your help

The simple methopd is just to put two vertine lines on the graph manually.

Add the drawing toolbar into your workbook using the menu

Insert - Toolbars - Drawing

Then add a line like you would in any drawings. Make a vertical line at the
start date and a 2nd line at the end date.
