using encryption certificates

I'd like to recover files that have previously been
encrypted. I have the encryption certificate saved, how
do I access my files with all the pertinent info?

I already transferred ownership - so now I am looking on
how to use the encryption certificate to access my old
files.

Can someone please instruct me on how to accomplish this?

as microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin or
microsoft.public.win2000.security. This newsgroup is for questions about
Microsoft Access.
