The mailings i'm trying to send out to doctors include only their names (not
their titles) How can I set up outlook or word to include the ever so
impotant Dr.

Type it into the template, immediately in front of the where the name will
go.

Why are you writing to impotent doctors?

Maybe he's hyping herbal V*I*A*G*R*A. <g>

Try copying the following exactly and save as an autotext entry called
AddressLayout (all one word) in the document template you use for the
letters.

{<PR_DISPLAY_NAME_PREFIX> <PR_GIVEN_NAME> <PR_SURNAME>
}{<PR_COMPANY_NAME>
}{<PR_POSTAL_ADDRESS>}

(note the curly brackets are not field boundaries, but are typed from the
keyboard)

If this doesn't give you quite the required results try changing the name
fields using the available fields from Outlook which are listed at
http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm (which also provides an alternative
method of inserting addresses.) For mail merge see
