using API's in Access

Hi,

Hopefully a nice easy one. I've not been able to find it so far, so
I'm grovelling to you all now.

How do you use API's / modules in Access? I'm looking to use an API to
find the user XP logon name and populate a field in a query / table.

See http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0008.htm at "The Access Web". Copy
everything between Code Start and Code End into a new module and save it.
(Make sure you don't name the module fOSUserName). Use fOSUserName()
wherever you want to know the User Id.
