I have 7 computers (2 Windows 2000 server, but the server
part is not being used) and 5 Windows XP. They are all in
the same Workgroup, and they are all connected directly to
the internet through a hub. One computer can see all other
computers and access their shared folders; all the other
computers can't see other computers: I can't add network
places, or remote printers etc.
If I look at their internet and TCP settings they all seem
to be the same: the settings of one that can see seems to
be identical to the settings of the six that can't see.
In addition the ones that can't see other computers have
network places (in other computers) which are still working
(they were set up a long time ago when the whole network
started and had not been touched since), but which I do not
dare to touch because I will not be able to add them again.
Any clues
