Using a Lookup List with Parameters

Can you create a parameter query that uses a lookup list/table to select from?
 
Yes - create a form that has your ComboBox or ListBox and have an Event or
Macro to run the query AfterUpdate.
 
Can you give me specifics or point to the area in Help for Access 2000
