Using a different account to reply

Hi people,

I run a web site and have it set up with 3 different E-mail accounts. Each
account is forwarded to my ISP E-mail account. In Outlook Express I had a
rule set up that would check all incoing mail for "Send to" and use that
information to store each E-mail in a separate folder to keep everything
organized. If I replied to an E-mail then the default mail account was used
for my reply which was in my case my ISP account, but I always had the
option to change it to any of my 3 web host E-mail accounts.

I don't have that option in Outlook. It always forces me to use the original
E-mail account that any of these E-mails was forwarded too, in my case my
ISP account. I can not change the account that I use to reply to any of
these E-mails. Is there a way to solve this or should I use just get rid of
the complete forwarding of my E-mail on the web host? Maybe I'm approaching
this all wrong.

And advice is really appreciated.

Works for me. I have several email accounts set up in Outlook (before 2k,
now 2k3). I can filter emails into folders according to a number of
criteria; whether that works with your forwarded messages depends on how
exactly they get forwarded and how that relates to what Outlook can filter
on.

But in any case I can select the email account that is used for sending a
message. There is a drop-down button "Accounts" next to the "Send" button
that allows me to select the account.

You also could retrieve your web site email directly with Outlook, if you
have POP boxes for each of them. There's usually no need to forward mail to
one account. (This is what I do.) Outlook then uses automatically the
account through which the message came in for a reply.

Ok, forget about it.
The problem solved itself anyway, since I went back to Outlook Express, I
just had too many problems with time outs in OE/Office XP, even with it's
SP3 applied.
