Using a Access 2000 file on Access 97

Hi People,

I have done some work on my computer which has Access 2000 and need to
transfer and work on it on my laptop, which has Access 97.

Is there a way of opening up this access file, through an update or anything
like that?

(Keep a back-up!)

In Access 2000, use the Menu Tools / Database Utilities ... / Convert
Database ... / Convert to a Prior version ... to convert a copy to Access
97. Copy the converted file to the PC with Access 97 and you should
normally be able to open the converted database with Access 97.

Note that if you use any new feature introduced in A2000, the function will
be lost when you convert the database to A97 file format.
