Not sure exactly what you mean. You added these new users
to the domain admins group?
Normally you would not want to add normal user to the
domain admins group as this would allow them to log on to
your dc's and destroy the domain.

On the workstations they have local administrator
account. You might add users to this local group but not
the domain admin group.
 
Hi Mate

Its just a home network and I am the only user. I am just
getting familiar with the Active Directory and wanted to
create different user accounts to test different user
rights.

Any Ideas why this might be happening?

The version of server i have is a 90 trial version that
you get when you do the MCSE. I have had some problems
with the AD in the past and had to reinstall it. Is there
something I am doing wrong or could it be a software
problem? I dont think it is something I am doing as its
fairly straight forward to add a user
