Users unable to write to their home folder

Hi Guys,
I've developed a sudden problem whereby newly created users cannot write to
their home folder.
My structure is like this
\\server_name\users$\%username%
The share is occurring on users$, with the sub folder being mapped directly
as in Z: \\server_name\users$\user_name

Check the share permissions & NTFS permissions on the users' home folder.
The user should have Modify rights (not full control).

Make sure you have not set read only permissions on the users$ share. I tried this once, and no one could write any files! Also, check to see if the %username% folder is inheriting any deny privilages

Thanks a lot. I added change permission on the group everyone to the share
and it works ok now.
