Users Login Auditing

Hi,
I am not sure if it is right group for my question.

How can I setup auditing for users login? I searched Microsoft Knowledge
Base Article - 314977, 248260 and 252412. I did what it said. I still cannot
find the security log in Event Viewer.

EventcombMT should work fine for Windows 2000. Your parent domain should not
come into play on this.

For user logon sucess and failure auditing you should enable the auditing
policy in the Default Domain Controller policy.
