Usergroup secruity???

Hi there,

I would like to retrieve of a secured database the Username and the group
that he / she belongs to, to apply access rights to some button click
events, which are accessing forms that the User Usergroup doesn't have
access to.

Any idea how I would go on about it??

User Name is CurrentUser()

SInce a user can be in more than one group, there's no equivalent to
CurrentGroup. The Access Security FAQ at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=/support/access/content
%2fsecfaq.asp includes sample code for how to list all groups a given user
is in, or to determine whether a given user is in a given group.
