UserForms & Macros

Can I assign a variable to the selection from a userform listbox. I have
many documents that depend on the user to make selections before the document
can be formated. Using bookmarks in a template will not work. I really need
a variable that I can use in a macro. I'm a WordPefect expert lost in Word.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can assign the selected item to a variable and then have it displayed in
the document by the use of a { DOCVARIABLE } field.
