UserAgent data

R

Robert Scheer

Hi.

I have a log that among other things, uses Request.UserAgent to get
information about the user's browser. I have seen that some entries
appear as 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; Hotbar
4.4.6.0)' or 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98;
FunWebProducts)'

What are Hotbar and FunWebProducts? Is there any way to extract this
piece of information separated from the others?

Thanks,
Robert Scheer

They claim they are like google toolbar, but in reality they are a form of
spyware that has been installed into a users browser. As its part of a
string you can parse the string, or split it to pull the data out.
