Hi

Can anyone assist with a fairly basic question.
Does the User State Migration Tool migrate the AutoCorrect settings in word?
Looking at a migration from Word 2000 on Windows 2000 to Word 2003 on
Windows XP

thanks

Might be of help:

Most of these 'auto' entries are in normal.dot. One issue you might find is
that normal.dot may reside in a number of places, depending on the Office
version. This might fox the transfer wizard, I guess.

IIRC It's also not advised to copy normal.dot from one version of Office to
another. In this case you should preferably use the tool to transfer the
autotext. Or, if that's too much work then do a test to make sure copying
normal.dot won't cause problems.
