User Registration Problem

I am using Frontpage 2000. I have created a user registration page which
links to a confirmation page. That links to a subweb which asks for
username and password. The username and password are rejected. When I
check permissions for the subweb, the new username is not there. However it
is in my _private/form_results file. The sign-up is not making it to
permissions on the subweb. You can see what I am talking about at
www.jerichoshowdesign.com by entering the directors only area.

If your host allows unique subweb permissions, you need to open the subweb and set Tools Security Permissions - select managed by
FP registration

Stefan,

I use Frontpage 2000 and I don't see "managed by FP registration". Could
that possibly be in a later version?

Needs to be set on the server w/ FP SE (not in local web)
- it is actually the setting: Only registered users have browse access

See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;207288&Product=fp2000
