lately we are having users who log into their normal machines on the domain
and a new profile is being created with the fqdn extension. for example:
smithxx is the normal profile; user logs in and suddenly they log in and a
new profile smithxx.abc.def, and the smithxx is still there but is no longer
accessible by the user. The new profile is empty and an administrator has to
log in locally and copy the user's favorites and files over to the new
profile with the fqdn extension. Any help would be appreciated
