Hello,
I have deleted and recreated a local account on a Windows
2000 Advanced Server box...same user id and password.
The server is set up for Terminal Server remote admin
only. When I go to log on to the server via TS, I get an
error message telling me I do not have log on access to
the session. This is the same message I receive when I try
to log on to the server as a non admin. To test, I created
another local account and made it a member of the local
admin group. I was able to log on successfully to the
terminal server session.
One quirk I noticed was that in the member of tab of the
account in question, I did not see the admin group listed.
However, when I go to add the user to the group, I get a
message stating the user was already a member of the group.
Any ideas?
My last resort is to just reboot the server this
evening....
