user name crisis I was using the default admin account for months :(

Firstly I installed windows xp professional myself, but skipped through the
user info. Anyway appartently that gave me an administrator account which
was only visible whne no other accounst where installed.

A few months ago I wanted a second account reason being that I wanted to be
able to have an account where I would have no administrator priviledges and
therefore hopefully I couldnt accidently muck things up.

Anyway I created a second account which I wanted to be my administrator
account so I could keep my settings in my user account and just turn off
administrator access.

this as I said above I found out was impossible, so i proceeded to add a
second administrator account.

On restart my first account disappeared and I had options of only the 2
accounts I had created.

I need to know how I can get into my original account, I know its still
there because its still present as a user in the documents folder once I get
in ill export all settings and disable it for good,

please help, ill pay ill do anything if someone can only help,

I am a member of the charity/NPO doyourservice www.doyourservice.com and
some very important emails to us are stuck in that accounts outlook settings

The disappearance of the default Administrator account from the Welcome
screen is normal after another account within the administrator group is
created. To access this account, press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice at the welcome
screen. A Win2000-like logon prompt will appear. Type in Administrator (or
if you changed the name of this account, type in the name you used with
it). If a password was assigned to the account, type that in and you're
ready to logon.

You can leave this account hidden as it was originally designed to be. Or
you can use TweakUI for XP to bring it back on to the welcome screen.
TweakUI is one of the Power toys for XP. This URL links to the version that
is *only* for XP with SP1:

If you do not have SP1, the earlier version can be found at:
