User logon alert

I have set some users up on a 2000 Terminal Server but
when I try and log in as them from outside it prompts
me "The Local Policy of this System does not permit you to
logon interactively". Is there a security policy I need
to switch off? I think I might have put one on that is
doing this but I am not sure. Please Help.

You have to give the users the right to "Log on Locally" to your
Terminal Server. This is done in the Default Security Policy.

If your TS is also a Domain Controller (not recommended!), then you
have to change the Default Domain Controller Security Policy.

By default on DC only members of Admninistrators, Backup
Operators, Account Ops., Server Ops. & printer ops. are
allowed to logon locally. So now either add your user to
one of em or add the user you want to the Log on Locally
policy on the DC using the domain controller security
policy
