User Log on

Joe Barich

I had two users on my computer. I am hooked up to a dsl. I
came to my computer and found that the main user was no
longer listed and this was the only user with
adminstrative authority. I have not been able to fix this
and reestablish this user. The current user does not have
adminstrative authority. Any help

Hi Joe,

At the Welcome screen, hit ctrl+alt+delete twice to bring up the older logon
screen where you can manually enter the administrator account name.

Hi Joe,

For XP Home, start Windows in Safe Mode and login as Administrator. In XP
Professional, you can press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the Welcome screen and
login as Administrator.

Hide User or Add User to the Welcome Screen (Line 22)

Using TweakUI:
Logon> enable/disable the entries
