User-Level Security

Hi All,

I put, or I thought I did, user-level security around my database stored on
a network shared drive using the user-level security wizard. However, I can
open the database without a userid and password and now I can't open, read,
or design any tables, queries or forms. Is there anyway to start over or
erase what I did? Also, I had the help desk here at my job give me
administrator rights on my PC but that has not solved anything. PLEASE
HELP!!!!

What version of Access? 2002/3 does a decent job, but not earlier versions.

It sounds like it's partially secured. The wizard creates a backup of the mdb before it secures it. See if you can find that. It'll have the same name as the mdb but a bak extension. Just rename it to have a mdb extension

Rename all the *.mdw files you can find on your computer. and start over. See www.jmwild.com/AccessSecurity.htm for a set of steps to follow.
