USER INTERFACE FAILURE

When I turn my son's Windows xp computer on, a blank
screen appears then a message as follows:

The logon user interface
DLL msgina.dll failed to load.
Contact your system administer to replace the DLL or
restore the original DLL

Try the following:
Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\WinLogon.
In the right pane, remove the entry for Gina.DLL.
