I have installed all my apps as administrator, but I understand that
browsing and such is not safe as administrator so I created a user that I
wish to use , but I cannot seem to find out how to give this user account
access to all apps. I wish to be able to log on as a user but want to have
the same access to apps as I do as administrator.

How?

Thanks in advance.

Are you saying the apps will not run when logged on as the other user OR you
cannot find the shortcuts?

Cannot find the shortcuts. They are not under "All Programs"

I've looked in my Xp books -- maybe I should pull out my 2k books

Cannot find the shortcuts? That's because they are all under

C:\Documents and Settings\Username_Under_which_you_Installed
and either the \Desktop or \Start Menu subdirectories.

Essentially you will have to MANUALLY copy these to the :

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users
and either the \Desktop or \Start Menu subdirectories.

That simple.

Programs just don't live in the multi-user environment very well in some
cases. That's why every Windows XP user in a multi-user household have to
become junior admins now.

Thanks.

And if I want to create another user in the user group that has access to
only some of the apps -- how would I do that.
