User folder name won't change.

Hi,

I've recently made a clean install of Windows Vista. The other day i changed
my username, which seem to go correctly at first... the user account name
changed, the folder name on my desktop changed to the new account name.
However when i look into C:\Users\... the Username of the folder in there is
still the old account name, when i navigate into this folder it takes me to
my correct directory, but the name is incorrect. This also is apparent when
viewing active process's, it is still showing they are under the old account
name even though i have changed it.

If anyone knows of any solutions to make it show the correct account namei t
would be much appreciated! Thanks kindly in advance!

What you are seeing is the default behavior. Regardless of the name change,
it's almost impossible to change all of the thousands of registry entries,
folders, and other pointers that are associated with a users account name.

The only solution is to create a new user account, copy all of the folder
and settings to the new user account, and then deleate the original account.
