user defined time format

Hi all,
I need to be able to record time in a field and the format is minutes
seconds and fractions of seconds, eg 1:20:223
Is there anyway that "access" can record, compare and report on this type of
data in this format?
I have noticed that I can define minutes and seconds but not fractions of
seconds. Additionally when I use the hh:nn:ss format "access" will place am
or pm after it. Is there a way to remove this?
Many thanks if you can assist
Regards
Allan

No. The date/time field in JET cannot handle fractions of a second. Neither
can the date/time functions in VBA.

You will need to create your own data type, and functions for this kind of
data.
