Re previous post:
"does anyone know where fp generally stores user created templates?"

I was unaware of this option until I saw this post.

Does this mean I could create a generic css file that could:
1) be automatically applied to any web page that referenced it?
2) or do the actual css files still have to be part of the website?

BTW, I'm using FP2K and don't see a "Webs" folder listed. You can make
a template for a full website?

I don't know about the FP templates setup, but an easy way to use a template
is to make a page with your borders, etc. the way you want and then save the
page in a special folder. This will be your template. When you want to use
this template, you just copy it to the clipboard and then paste it into the
folder where you will be creating the new page. Then fill in the blanks.

Your CSS style sheet has to be in the website and uploaded to the server.

The CSS styles will be automatically applied to any page that is linked to
the style sheet. >format >style sheet links. You will also have the option
to apply the style sheet to all pages.

Yes
Put your .css file in the local user CSS page template folder
It is found by entering below in your Windows Explorer address bar
%APPDATA\Microsoft\FrontPage\CSS

Youc an put your CSS page anywhere on your web site. I created a folder
called ~styles for it, and it works fine.

If it is in a web it is only accessible in that specific web in FP
Believe the user was asking where a css template could be put that could be accessed as a template page for use in any web (as in
File New page and using the CSS tab)

Again you're correct. I got off track with wishful thinking I guess.
