User accounts

Using XP home ed. w/SP2. I only use one user account. A few weeks ago,
whenever I restart the machine, it boots and starts a separate administrator
account that is not listed in the list of accounts. All I have to do is
switch users, but it's annoying as hell and I want to stop it. When I go to
the list of accounts, it only lists the one administrator account I want to
use and the guest account, which is turned off.

Any help? Thanks
 
in User accounts, click "Change the way user's log on or off" and make sure
that Use the welcome screen is selected
