User Accounts

Good day to you all, I was wondering if anyone could help on this, When I
log onto the net my user account page on the destop shows that I have 53
meassages in my email, well I haven't. LOL I did have have but I have since
deleted them. It is not the end of the world but can anyone advise me how to
remove the message? Thanks and a merry Christmas to you all
