Several weeks ago my profile got messed up and I had to create another one.
Both were admin level accounts. I successfuly transferred the needed data
into my new profile and apps but now my disk space is severely limited. I
bought an external hard drive to download the old profile data and delete it
from my internal hard drive.

Problem I am having is now I can not access any of the old profile / user
account files because they were password protected and the user account I had
is no longer visible in user accounts.

I am th eonly user on this Dell Notebook so does anyone know how I can
access these old files as the administrator and work with them?

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.
