User Account Query

We recently had to recover our family PC with the recovery discs, which was
straight forward enough.
We have now installed all our hardware/software and installed the internet
easily enough, but now the user accounts we created after set up for each
family member do NOT have access to internet but DO have access to everything
else. Can someone please tell me what we've done wrong?
In all other accounts apart from the main administrator account, the error
message ERROR 718 appears. It states:
A Point to Point Protocol (PPP) connection was initiated but could not be
completed because the remote computer did not respond in a timely manner or
it did not give a valis response...This means nothing to me, and I'd love
someone to be able to help us out!!

It almost sounds as if you used the wrong wizard to set up your internet
connection. I'm wondering if you used the LAN wizard branch instead of the
Internet wizard? You have to keep track of the wording as you go thru
setting things up.

Can you better describe waht you've done to set up the internet access?

We simply put in the disc to install the internet - it did it all itself.
Tiscali Broadband.
That's the reason why I don't knot what's gone wrong.
