Hi,
I have another user with limited account created on my XP
pro standalone system. The user was loging on her account
fine until she got the following error message: "the
security log on this system is full, only an
administrator can fix this problem". How do I fix this, I
can log on as an administrator but I'll need step by step
instrucion. Can someone help with this please, thanks.:)

If you don't want to clear the security events outright, do ONLY the
second option, but if you do want to clear them do both.

Log in as Admin. Go to Start--->Control Panel--->Administrative
Tools--->Event Viewer. Right Click the Security Log and click Clear Log.
Choose whether you want to save it or not and that should be that.

To ensure it doesn't happen again Right click the Security Log again
(Start--->Control Panel--->Administrative Tools--->Event Viewer) and
click properties and change the option under log size from Do Not
Overwrite to Overwrite Events As Needed.

I forgot to tell you to make sure the log size setting is set to
something reasonable like 512KB or so, no smaller.
