Used Disk Space Reading 12 GB over "actual" used

I have a 20 GB hard drive which shows 18 GB used however
when select all folders and files (incl. hidden) on the
drive and hit properties it only shows 6 GB used.

My drive no other partitions and I've upgraded to my
manufacturers most recent flash bios version.

Any suggestions?
 
Recycle Bin space may not show up??

Norton SystemWorks Protected Recycle Bin???

XP System Restore (System Volume info directory)???
