use check box to perform find/sort/query

I have a form (surprise!). The form's function is to create a directory of
services, where services are defined by several check boxes, each check box
indicating what type of service it is.

The form is done and data entry is (almost) flawless. Now I am in phase
two, which is to create a second form - or functions within the first form -
that serve as a search tools.

I want create check boxes that correspond to the input check boxes in the
first form where, in this form, when the check box is checked, it performs a
search function of all of the entries and returns the entries where that
check box is checked. Am I making sense? I want to start with just a single
check box function.

I have searched the forum here to see if the answer already exists, but I
can't seem to find a response that is simple enough for me to understand or
it does not address this particuliar issue.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.

You are describing a "how" ... using forms, checkboxes, etc.

In a relational database like Access, it all starts with the data! How to
achieve something really depends on how your data is structured.

More info, please...
