i have two computers with windows xp. one has an internet connection and the
other doesnt. the one that has the internet connection has a network card
but the other doesnt. and plus the internet connection uses the network card
anyways. but my question, is it possible to network two computers togethor
using usb? anybody know?

Yes you can. I recently sold such an item. It is a USB bridge cable that
supports networking. I got mine from eBay. If you just want internet
connection sharing, then they work just fine.
