USB U3 drive crash on some computers

Dear,

I have a brand new USB Retract U3 drive from disk2go

On most computer it works flawless, however I discovered two computer
with XP, where the USB stick completely crashed the Windows XP. The
last thing to do was to hit the power button.

Any idea what can cause a USB stick to crash a computer?
