Now, this looks rather interesting, a complete suite of some sorts,
with its own email client. And it's free, that's almost too good to be
true. Has anyone actually tried it?

Not Freeware!!!!

I found it in a site about freeware and tought it was so but it looks like
a free trial.
I really apologise for that, sorry.

It's donation-ware as well as having a misleading sales pitch...it does not
RAR as stated, only unRARs.

"mad Max" <[email protected]> shouted angrily:
Does anyone know freeware like this?
Yes, there are hundreds of great portable apps out there. The best site
I've found is http://www.portablefreeware.com/. All the apps are freeware
and have been found to run without an install. Some will write to the
registry, most will not. But, the site will tell you the portablility of
each of the apps. This is one site I check daily. Actually, it is one of
the live bookmarks on my Firefox Toolbar.
