Hi,

Anyone use a USB to IDE adapter to easily build target image on development
PC and then use hard drive on target device for FBA, etc.

The USB to IDE allows a standard IDE harddrive to be used externally.

Mark,

The best solution for you would be to buy removable HDD reck for target and development device.

Or if you want USB.
You can use M-Systems uDOC devices, they have XPe components and tools that allow you easily to create bootable uDOC disk, and to
run FBA from USB.

For about $40 us you can get a USB to IDE adapter. I've used them and they
work fine.

Note: I used them on my development machine so I don't have to power off
and reboot and all that jaz, but on the target I use the IDE cable. I've
been using a 44 pin IDE Flash Drive that plugs straight into the SBC's IDE
Connector. Pretty cool device.
