hans

I have a lot of usb devices.
And i am using a network.
Normaly my networkdrives have the letters g: and h:

The problem is that the network devices are gone if i restart the computer
with a usb device installed.
g: or h: is now the usb device.

Is there a way to start the usb devices at k:?

Greetings Hans

it's far easier to map network drives to z and go backwards than to use the
first available drive letters and go upwards. as you have now discovered the
lower drive letter assignments are used for hot swap drives/removable media
drives first and if you mapped a network share to that drive letter too bad
it's got second priority to the removable drive.

just remap the network drives to the highest drive letters and work
backwards and no conflicts
