USB ports

I recently got a new motherboard and reinstalled windows
xp home onto hard drive, now the USB ports arent
installed, when I try to install the drivers from the
motherboard cd or use XP to install, it tells me that this
cant be done, i dont have access.
can someone help

Dominic, rt click on MyComputer>select Properties>Hardware>Device
Manager>USB Controllers. rt click on each one and choose Uninstall. Then
restart and let XP reinstall them.

Are the USB ports disabled in the BIOS. You will also need to install
Windows XP SP1 and latest motherboard drivers.
