USB Pen Drive Won't Work - Win2000

Hi,

I recently purchased a USB Pen Drive. I think that is
what it is called, it is a 128MB mass-storage device that
you can put on your keyring or easily slip into your
pocket.

I first used this device at work on my Win2000 computer
and it worked just fine. I brought it home and plugged it
into my home Win2000 computer and it started installing,
but then gave me this message:

Found New Hardware Wizard
An error occurred during the installation of the device.
The installation failed because a function driver was not
specified for this device instance.

I have installed the latest service packs and Windows
Updates, but still can not get this USB device to work.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Randall

I think I found the answer. I was look back through the
other posts and quite a few pages back I read a post
suggesting the front mounted USB ports may not be USB 2.0.

So, I tried my Pen Drive on the rear USB ports, and it
worked fine. I thought a USB 2.0 device would work in a
1.0 port, but perhaps this is not the case.
