USB hub power on S3 standby

I installed Windows XP Professional on a new computer with
a Belkin USB keyboard and a Microsoft USB optical mouse. I
can use the keyboard to enter S3 sleep/standby; but I can
not use the keyboard to wake up the computer. I've
jumpered the motherboard (ABIT IC7-G) to allow the USB port
(s) to wake up the computer and the BIOS also.

I noticed that the mouse does not have power when in S3
state. I checked the USB root hub in the device manager
and I unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn off this
device to save power." The "Allow this device to bring the
computer out of standby" is greyed out and is not
selectable.

Note that I can wake up the computer from the power switch
on the computer case.

What do I have to do in order to have the USB hub keep
power applied to the keyboard while in S3 standby? Thanks.

I've got SP1 installed. I don't lose the first
keystroke. I lose all keystrokes. The USB keyboard
doesn't have any power while in S3 standby.
