I have installed a new USB hard drive in my Desk Top but
it work at low speed only. I think I will need a Hi Speed
2.0 USB Port but, I don't know how to do that. When I
start the comp. I see a message " HI-SPEED USB DEVICE
PLUGGET IN NON HI-SPEED HUB"
SOMEBODY CAN HELP ME, PLEAS?
THANKS.

You need to purchase a USB2 card. Most cards will give you two USB2 ports,
I believe some cards will give up to four ports. The cards "plug" into your
machine in the same way as video cards, Modem cards etc. You will also need
to install the SP1 upgrade for the USB2 drivers. Generally WINXP will load
the drivers automatically once you lug in a USB2 device, it is a painless
exercise for most.
